Searching and Summarizing in Multilingual Enviroment

Description: This project is focussed on the development the system that would enable a multilingual searching in text databases and an automatic summarization of retrieved texts. New multilingual searching and summarizing algorithms, proposed by members of our group, are implemented in the system.

Josef is an associated professor at the Department of computer science and engineering at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Czech Republic. He is interested in media monitoring and analysis, mainly automatic text summarisation, sentiment analysis and coreference resolution.
