PageRank and analysis of citation cycles

PageRank and analysis of citation cycles

The PageRank formula, originally designed forevaluation of significance of web pages, is also usable forevaluation of significance of authors in citation graphs.None of works on this theme takes in notice influence ofcitation cycles. We are convinced, they should affect thesignificance of the authors. We used Kendall and Spearmancoefficients to evaluate an influence of cycles.
